The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sikorsky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sikorsky fails to land with a series of punches.
Sikorsky tries to bum rush Lesmar with a series of wild strikes but Lesmar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sikorsky throws a nice looking combination but Lesmar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sikorsky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lesmar counters with a beautiful punch that sends Sikorsky to the canvas!
Sikorsky is rocked!
Lesmar is pushing down on Sikorsky's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sikorsky is fighting to maintain full guard but Lesmar has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oh Sikorsky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sikorsky seems to have got his legs back now.
Let's hope that Lesmar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sikorsky might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lesmar moves into full mount! Sikorsky won't be happy about that!

Lesmar lands a big shot there that rocks Sikorsky but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Allan Sikorsky has been cut.
Lesmar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Sikorsky's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesmar lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sikorsky hang on?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Lesmar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
