Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cory Mischiek!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mischiek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Henderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch but Mischiek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mischiek scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mischiek throws a lazy uppercut
and Henderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mischiek sprawls well. Mischiek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Henderson gets slowly back to his feet.
Mischiek moves into the clinch.
Henderson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mischiek avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henderson pulls guard successfully.
Henderson is adopting a defensive guard.
Mischiek has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Henderson is proving hard to escape from.
Mischiek looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mischiek wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Henderson's closed guard. He's half up but Henderson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Henderson pivots and extends the arm, Mischiek falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Henderson! Well done that man!
