The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valiquette gets caught flat footed, as Willson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Valiquette is breathing heavily.
Willson throwing strikes but missing.
Willson stands and throws Valiquette's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Valiquette is trying to escape and Willson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Valiquette is forced to tap! Nice work there by Willson! Very nice indeed!
