Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Donaldson (ranked 24763 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ricket (ranked 4470 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricket has chosen One Foot as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Kerry Donaldson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kerry Donaldson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricket tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ricket gets a clinch.
Donaldson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ricket throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Donaldson blocks it with crossed arms.

Donaldson chips away with some ground and pound.
Donaldson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donaldson throws an elbow that misses. Ricket uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Donaldson's guard. Nice move by Ricket!

Donaldson controls Ricket momentarily but Ricket frees himself.
Donaldson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ricket is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Donaldson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ricket tries to free his leg and advance position but Donaldson is retaining full guard.
Donaldson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Donaldson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ricket manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ricket throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Ricket stands and steps away. Donaldson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

It looks like Kerry Donaldson has been cut.
Ricket dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Donaldson. That did some damage!
Ricardo Ricket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ricket ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Ricket has Donaldson up against the cage in a clinch.
Donaldson tries to pull guard but Ricket won't allow it.

Donaldson is rocked!
Ricket creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Donaldson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Donaldson drops to his knees and Ricket pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Ricardo Ricket rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
