Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Martin (ranked 1528 p4p, 63 weight class) and Teodosio Turturro (ranked 832 p4p, 33 weight class). Turturro has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin shoots in and gets a takedown into Turturro's guard.
Turturro looks winded!
Martin wants to pass the guard but Turturro is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin is working hard here to advance position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Turturro is retaining full guard.

Turturro looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Martin passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
