The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dos Santos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stahl counters with a straight right hand.
Dos Santos's corner calls for a 1-2. Dos Santos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stahl will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stahl throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Dos Santos to counter with a crisp jab.
Stahl takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Dos Santos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stahl moves away.
Frank Stahl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dos Santos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stahl at a distance.
Stahl looks winded!

Dos Santos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stahl has time to react.
Dos Santos ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Stahl throws a sloppy head kick and Dos Santos moves out of range easily.
Dos Santos lands a slapping body shot.
Dos Santos throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Stahl's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dos Santos dives in looking to finish as Stahl flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dos Santos's strikes! Dos Santos is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Stahl's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Stahl was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
