Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Spinner!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Webster enables Spinner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Webster manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Webster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Webster has his foot on Spinner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spinner works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Spinner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Webster did well to prevent Spinner getting side control.
Spinner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Spinner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Spinner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Spinner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Webster gets back to full guard.

Spinner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Webster, up you get!

Webster kicks Spinner off and gets back to his feet.

Webster fails to land with a series of punches.

Spinner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Webster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Webster sets himself, and Spinner steps forward looking for the clinch! Webster avoids it this time.

Spinner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Webster regains guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Webster looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Webster keeps the fight on the outside.

Spinner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Webster napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Spinner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Webster is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Webster manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Spinner wants to control but Webster is keeping him busy.

Webster holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Spinner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Webster does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Webster avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Spinner.

Webster kicks off Spinner and gets to his feet.
Spinner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Webster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spinner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Oh Webster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spinner is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Spinner lands a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spinner jerks Webster's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Webster drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Spinner goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Spinner because Webster was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). David Spinner!
