The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jundamara closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lloyd did well to prevent Jundamara getting side control.

Jundamara changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lloyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jundamara goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lloyd is on top in guard.
Lloyd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lloyd keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jundamara's head.

Lloyd drops back looking for a leg! Jundamara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jundamara manages to kick Lloyd off! Lloyd jumps back into Jundamara's guard.
Jundamara is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jundamara takes the fight into the clinch.

Lloyd has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jundamara regains guard immediately.
Jundamara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lloyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jundamara has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

George Jundamara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lloyd throws a front kick aimed at Jundamara's knee but Jundamara avoids it well.

Jundamara shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lloyd sprawls well. Lloyd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jundamara gets slowly back to his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lloyd connects with a nice short shot to Jundamara's temple.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jundamara is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lloyd can't fight it off and eventually Jundamara manages to take the fight to the floor. Lloyd looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
