Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Plumson (ranked 7252 p4p, 611 weight class) and Denis Mamaev (ranked 7227 p4p, 609 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mamaev's choice of entrance music: Eminem - Venom. On his way into the cage it seems that Taylor Plumson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Taylor Plumson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plumson tries to clinch there but Mamaev circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mamaev! But no joy.
Mamaev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Plumson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mamaev scrambles back to his feet.
Plumson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mamaev counters with a straight right hand.
Plumson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Plumson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mamaev throws out the jab.
Mamaev lands a body shot.
Plumson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Plumson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mamaev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Taylor Plumson has been cut.
Mamaev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Plumson circles away quickly and effectively.
Plumson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mamaev manages to circle out of the way.
Mamaev misses the jab.
Plumson moves out of range of the strikes.
Plumson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mamaev throws a hook to the side of Plumson's head but Plumson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Plumson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mamaev might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Plumson is looking to clinch but Mamaev is avoiding it.
Plumson ducks straight into an uppercut from Mamaev and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Plumson manages to regain guard straight away.
Plumson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mamaev trying to control the position from guard on top but Plumson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oh Plumson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Plumson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Plumson tries to get out of the position.
Mamaev gets to his feet - Plumson follows without any prompting.
Plumson seems to have got his legs back now.
Plumson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Mamaev gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Mamaev!
A very excited looking Denis Mamaev made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
