Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Friedrich Von Kuschelbär (ranked 2305 p4p, 304 weight class) and Publius Sestius (ranked 3655 p4p, 431 weight class). Von Kuschelbär's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Erasure - Always. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Publius Sestius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sestius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Von Kuschelbär manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Von Kuschelbär creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sestius is rocked!
Von Kuschelbär scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sestius is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Von Kuschelbär can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Friedrich Von Kuschelbär!
In his post fight interview, Friedrich Von Kuschelbär started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
