The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets the takedown into side control.

Smith is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Harris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Harris shrugs it off.

Smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Smith finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Harris manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
