The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mustafic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Chan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chan clinches with his opponent.

Mustafic wants the takedown. Chan is fighting it off but Mustafic persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Chan's guard against the cage.
Mustafic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mustafic darts in and clinches Chan up against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mustafic stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Mustafic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mustafic showed some decent athleticism there.
Chan tries to kick Mustafic off in order to stand up. Mustafic Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Mustafic is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Mustafic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mustafic lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Mustafic.

Chan is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mustafic has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Chan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mustafic is looking for a choke. Chan gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Chan manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Mustafic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chan, up you get!

Let's hope that Mustafic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Mustafic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
