The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carsky tries for a takedown but Mikaelson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Carsky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mikaelson avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Carsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Carsky tried to counter with a leg kick but Mikaelson avoided it.
Mikaelson lands with a nice body punch.

Mikaelson lands a big right hand that sends Carsky crashing to the mat! Mikaelson stays standing though and waves Carsky back to his feet!

Oh Carsky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mikaelson shoots in for a takedown but Carsky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Carsky seems to have got his legs back now.

Mikaelson cracks Carsky with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Carsky looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mikaelson finish him?

Mikaelson closes the distance and clinches.

Carsky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Carsky closes the distance and clinches up with Mikaelson , looking for a takedown. Carsky pushes Mikaelson against the cage but Mikaelson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mikaelson lands an uppercut, right on the button! Carsky tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
