Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Denny George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Noneya!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noneya manages to get an easy takedown there - catching George on his heels. He'll look to pass George's guard now, I'm sure.

George manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Noneya closes the distance and pushes George back into the cage.
Noneya has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by George after a bit of a struggle.
George tries to break free but Noneya pushes him back against the cage.
Noneya wants a takedown.
George working hard to break the clinch.
Noneya keeps the fight in the clinch, despite George's efforts to push away.
Noneya tries a knee to the head but George blocks it.

That was a close round but I would say that Denny George will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for George, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
