Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Micheal Mcintyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blopp Flop!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flop changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcintyre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Mcintyre's face as Flop controls the position.
Mcintyre is looking to get back to his feet here but Flop is keeping cool and he's managed to take Mcintyre's back.
Flop biding his time, looking for the opening.

Mcintyre defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Flop's arms.

Flop goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mcintyre turns into him and now he's in Flop's guard.

Mcintyre throws a strike but Flop rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mcintyre wants to sweep but no luck.
Flop is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mcintyre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Flop has his takedown stuffed
and Mcintyre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Flop fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcintyre, pushing him back against the cage.
Mcintyre is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Flop is defending well for now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcintyre has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Mcintyre is trying to maintain a safe position but Flop gets an underhook and turns Mcintyre into the cage.

Flop manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blopp Flop has got the better of the ground game so far.

Flop works his way into side control.
Flop tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Flop stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mcintyre slips under a jab from Flop.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Flop gets the takedown into side control.
Mcintyre tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Flop biding his time, looking for the opening.
Flop's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mcintyre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flop on the ground.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mcintyre rolls, trying to escape but Flop keeps control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blopp Flop showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Flop shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Flop tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mcintyre controls his leg.
Flop has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mcintyre is trying to escape back to his feet but Flop uses the scramble to pass into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flop connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mcintyre some visible discomfort.
Mcintyre tries to buck Flop off but Flop is having none of it.
Check out the look on Flop's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!


Mcintyre is rocked!

Flop decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcintyre to his feet.
Oh Mcintyre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Flop gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mcintyre regains guard.
Flop is standing up over Mcintyre. Mcintyre looks to escape but Flop dives into side control.

Flop is trying to get an arm triangle but Mcintyre is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Flop decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcintyre to his feet.
Flop tries a head kick but it misses.

Flop dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Mcintyre has had enough and taps out.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Blopp Flop!
