Modric gets tackled into the cage by Alvac. Alvac maintains the clinch.

Alvac tries to bum rush Modric with a series of wild strikes but Modric uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oooooh!!! Alvac has knocked Modric down with a huge combo! Alvac steps away and waves a wobbly Modric back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Modric jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alvac walks away with a smile on his face. Modric gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Alvac throws a series of strikes that have Modric backpedaling.
Alvac is pawing at Modric, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Modric's nose. Modric is badly hurt! Alvac pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Modric tries desperately to hold on but Alvac is relentless in his assault! As Modric receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Alvac away and this one is in the books!

Adem Ozan Alvac decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
