Rivera looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Smek has picked Rivera up and slammed him! Rivera can't keep hold of the triangle and Smek manages to pass to side control!
Rivera wants to control but Smek postures up.
Rivera is looking to regain half guard here but Smek keeps moving and retains side control.

Rivera tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Smek wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Smek lands a nice shot to the head.
Smek scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Rivera tries to lock up and control but Smek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Smek is going olschool here, as he tries to force Rivera to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rivera shrugs it off.
