Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clemente Anderson (ranked 5502 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Wagner (ranked 7997 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner looking to score a takedown here. Anderson is defending well but Wagner drives through and ends up in Anderson's guard.
Anderson uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Anderson gets control of Wagner's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anderson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Anderson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wagner's guard.

Jack Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wagner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Anderson to the ground. Wagner is now in Anderson's guard.
Anderson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Wagner presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Wagner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Anderson enables Wagner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
