Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivory Moody (ranked 5422 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minoru Sakuraba (ranked 3490 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivory Moody!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoru Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba gets the takedown into side control.
Sakuraba working away.
Moody knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakuraba on the ground.
Sakuraba stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Moody fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moody showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sakuraba.
Moody seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Sakuraba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moody, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moody has Sakuraba pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sakuraba manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sakuraba turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sakuraba manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moody can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moody dodges the ground and pound from Sakuraba.
Moody is being controlled here.
Moody could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sakuraba scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Moody to see if he's OK.
Sakuraba gets to mount! Moody was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Sakuraba takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

It looks like Ivory Moody has been cut.
Sakuraba working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Moody turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Sakuraba off and cradles Moody's limp body as Sakuraba celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Minoru Sakuraba!
