The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preston throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.

Preston has closed the distance and engaged Lewis in a clinch.

Preston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Preston lands a head kick. Lewis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Preston scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lewis fails with the takedown.
Preston misses with a two punch combination.
Preston misses with the combination.
Preston misses with a few strikes there.

It looks like Avery Lewis has been cut.
Lewis throws a left and a right that both miss

and Preston counters with a series of strikes that sends Lewis to the canvas! Preston follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lewis is looking for a triangle but Preston pushes his legs off easily.
Preston wants to get up but he can't break Lewis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Preston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Preston is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lewis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Preston's back instead.

Preston is trying to get back to his feet but Lewis has full control of the position and if anything, Preston has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Preston defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lewis's arms.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Preston is trying to stand back up.
Preston is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Lewis off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Lewis misses with a punch to the head.

Lewis has got one arm under Preston's chin. This could be trouble... Preston trying to control the other hand but Lewis gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Preston has tapped out! The fight is over!
