Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zygarath Shinsaku!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leon throws a hook to the side of Shinsaku's head but Shinsaku sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shinsaku is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Leon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shinsaku.
A good leg kick by Shinsaku.
Shinsaku throws a head kick that misses.
Leon throws a nice looking combination but Shinsaku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Leon fails to land with a series of punches.
Leon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Shinsaku lands a head kick that stumbles Leon and the fighters go to the mat.

Leon is rocked!

It looks like Jay Leon has been cut.
Leon is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shinsaku stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oh Leon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shinsaku is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Leon being controlled here, momentarily.
Leon seems to have got his legs back now.
Leon controls Shinsaku momentarily but Shinsaku frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leon can't keep his opponent in guard - Shinsaku advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shinsaku slows the pace down in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Despite being in the dominant position, Zygarath Shinsaku just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shinsaku scoring well with a low kick there.
Shinsaku feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Leon's calf.
Zygarath Shinsaku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shinsaku.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shinsaku chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shinsaku seems to be stalking Leon here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Leon drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
