PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Mcgee (ranked 6730 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Katona (ranked 3494 p4p, 280 weight class). Katona has chosen Youngins pt.2 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katona throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgee's waist but Mcgee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Katona off to one side.
Katona changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcgee tries to avoid it but Katona manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcgee to the ground. Mcgee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Mcgee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
