Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donsone DeNeville (ranked 21 p4p, 5 weight class) and Rudi Dassler (ranked 186 p4p, 26 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Dassler!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeNeville throws a leg kick but Dassler sees it coming and checks it nicely.
DeNeville lands a front kick.
DeNeville connects with a leg kick. Dassler looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A jab from DeNeville finds it's way through Dassler's defenses.

It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.
Dassler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as DeNeville throws out the jab.
DeNeville fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A low kick from DeNeville is predictable there

and Dassler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DeNeville's guard.
DeNeville working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dassler.
DeNeville manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dassler manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dassler throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Dassler has his foot on DeNeville's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DeNeville works his way back into a safe position though.
DeNeville is in close to Dassler's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Dassler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. DeNeville is aware though and is defending well.
DeNeville stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dassler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dassler is looking for a triangle but DeNeville pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeNeville with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
DeNeville lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

DeNeville has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dassler to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! DeNeville is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dassler pulls down on the head and he's put DeNeville to sleep! This one is all over!
