Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Doan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Rush - Spirit of Radio as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right and a left that Doan avoids nicely.

Doan moves into the clinch.
Doan looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Doan is controlling the position.

Doan cracks Silva with a nice body shot.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva breaks the clinch.
Doan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Doan to the floor! Silva dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like James Doan has been cut.
Silva is trying to control the action in half guard but Doan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Doan tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is keen to just control but Doan is a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Doan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Doan wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Doan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Doan tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Doan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Doan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Silva blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Doan won't allow it.

Doan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Doan, who protects the arm well.

Doan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Doan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
