Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamar Wall (ranked 24232 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Neel (ranked 5470 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Neel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamar Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nicholas Neel!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neel throws a sloppy head kick and Wall moves out of range easily.
Neel fails to land the takedown.
Wall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Neel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wall was covering up waiting for the punch and Neel finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neel shoots in looking for a takedown but Wall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Neel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Neel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wall goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Neel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wall but great work by Neel.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
