Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Cole Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, PJ Lindsey!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lindsey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Moore drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lindsey gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lindsey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lindsey misses with the combination.

Lindsey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Moore misses with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lindsey is trying to force a seperation but Moore has the dominant position.
Moore changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lindsey fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No joy there for Lindsey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lindsey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Moore looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Lindsey falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Moore counter with a right hand.
Lindsey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Lindsey closes the distance and clinches.

Moore pulls guard successfully.
Moore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lindsey manages to get himself to full guard.

Lindsey pulls Moore in close to prevent any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lindsey can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lindsey is trying to control the position but Moore postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moore seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Lindsey has managed to clinch.
Moore is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lindsey pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cole Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lindsey scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Lindsey gets underhooks to prevent Moore's takedown attempt.
Moore tries to pull guard but Lindsey won't allow it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Still in the clinch, Lindsey scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lindsey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Moore is looking to take this one to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Lindsey has closed the distance and engaged Moore in a clinch.
Moore has Lindsey pressed against the cage, preventing Lindsey from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Moore misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lindsey.
Moore swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lindsey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Moore prevents Lindsey from breaking the clinch.
Moore tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lindsey is trying to force a seperation but Moore has the dominant position.

Moore's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lindsey gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moore.
Lindsey lands a right hand that snaps the head of Moore backwards.
Lindsey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The referee calls for Lindsey to work.
Lindsey softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Lindsey is trying to push Moore away but Moore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lindsey creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Moore with a big uppercut! Moore tries to clinch up but Lindsey pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Moore to the mat! Moore covers up and Lindsey unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). PJ Lindsey!
