Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Kay (ranked 2779 p4p, 136 weight class) and Felix Jaroslav (ranked 1280 p4p, 59 weight class). Jaroslav has chosen The Sound of Running Feet as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Kay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Jaroslav!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaroslav ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jaroslav lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kay at a distance.
Jaroslav lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jaroslav feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kay's calf.
Jaroslav throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kay on the side of the head.
Kay shoots in for a takedown but Jaroslav shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jaroslav, as that shot connected.
Kay seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Kay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jaroslav counters with a stiff right hand.
A head kick misses from Jaroslav.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jaroslav. That one must have hurt.
Jaroslav connects with a leg kick. Kay looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Felix Jaroslav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kay throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jaroslav works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Kay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jaroslav circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kay looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jaroslav. Kay shrugs it off though.

The crowd cheers as Jaroslav lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kay doesn't seem phased though.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jaroslav darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kay shoots in looking for a takedown. Jaroslav tries to sprawl out of it but Kay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jaroslav manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A relieved looking Felix Jaroslav thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
