Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dolensir gets a clinch.
Whitaker manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Dolensir wanted to stand there but Whitaker had control of the position.

Dolensir drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dolensir jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Whitaker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dolensir is aware though and is defending well.

Dolensir decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dolensir pushes Whitaker up against the cage in a clinch.
Whitaker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dolensir gets control of Whitaker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dolensir will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dolensir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whitaker defends it easily.
Whitaker wanted to stand there but Dolensir had control of the position.
Dolensir controls Whitaker momentarily but Whitaker frees himself.
Whitaker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dolensir is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Whitaker looks for a takedown but Dolensir sprawls well.
Dolensir moves into the clinch.
Dolensir throws an elbow but it's blocked.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Whitaker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Dolensir tightens his grip and picks Whitaker up, before dumping him to the ground. Whitaker manages to land in guard.
Whitaker is looking to stand back up but Dolensir counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Whitaker.
Dolensir is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Whitaker is just riding it out for now. Dolensir eventually gives up the hold.
Whitaker kicks off Dolensir and gets to his feet.
Dolensir clinches up with Whitaker and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Whitaker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dolensir just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dolensir fails to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Dolensir dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dolensir shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Whitaker's guard.
Whitaker looking for a sweep. Not yet Whitaker, not yet.
Dolensir gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dolensir goes for a double leg but Whitaker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Whitaker continues to drive forward.
Dolensir closes the distance and pushes Whitaker back into the cage.
Whitaker breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Whitaker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dolensir manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Whitaker on his heels. He'll look to pass Whitaker's guard now, I'm sure.
Dolensir has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dolensir keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Whitaker's head.

Whitaker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dolensir defends well.
Whitaker has momentary wrist control but Dolensir slips an elbow through the middle.
