The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reigns fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fer Campsonver checks it well.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Reigns.
Reigns throws a sloppy head kick and Fer Campsonver moves out of range easily.
Fer Campsonver swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fer Campsonver sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Reigns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Fer Campsonver to counter with a crisp jab.
Reigns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fer Campsonver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reigns somewhat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
