Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Solid Steel!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Steel connects with a body shot.
Steel lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
Steel connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.


It looks like Jimmy Gracie has been cut.
Gracie looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Solid Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Steel lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Steel manages to break the clinch.
Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Steel cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Donk. Steel catches Gracie right on the button with a cross.
Steel scores with a nice right hand.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie is pressing down on Steel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Steel is holding on for now.
Gracie is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gracie trying to pass the guard but Steel defending well.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Steel is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Steel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Steel connects with a single shot there.
Steel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Steel circles away from the clinch attempt
and Steel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Steel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Steel lands a big uppercut and Gracie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gracie looks OK. Steel waves Gracie back to his feet!


Gracie is rocked!


Jimmy Gracie's cut is getting worse.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steel fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Gracie square on the jaw! Damn, Gracie is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Solid Steel!
