Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamar Wall (ranked 24149 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jude (ranked 5452 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jude pushes Wall up against the cage in a clinch.
Wall fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Jude ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jude no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jude wants to stand up but Wall is controlling him.
Jude is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wall is looking to take this one to the mat.

That's time! Wall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jude jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wall walks away with a smile on his face. Jude gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jude closes the distance and pushes Wall back into the cage.
Jude tries to throw a body punch but Wall avoids it by throwing Jude back against the cage.

Jude turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jude manages to end up in side control.
Wall can't do much from the bottom here.

Wall is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Jude is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wall has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jim Jude has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jude goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jude's guard! Nice work there by Wall!
Wall postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jude has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Wall is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jude has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wall is looking to defend but Jude has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wall! Jude pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wall taps out and this one is all over!
