The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gest is looking for the big counter here.
Gest misses with a few strikes there.
Robles seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Robles moves in looking to clinch but Gest pushes him off.
Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gest misses the shot to the body.
Gest looks to score with a jab to the body but Robles is just out of range.
Gest throws a head kick that misses.

Gest looking to score a takedown here. Robles is defending well but Gest drives through and ends up in Robles's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robles wants to sweep here but Gest controlling him for the moment.
