Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Schaefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mr general (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
general looks to land a right hand but Schaefer moved out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schaefer.
Schaefer misses with a takedown attempt - general sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

general fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schaefer, pushing him back against the cage.
Schaefer is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Schaefer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. general avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

general pushes Schaefer off looking to stand but Schaefer dives back in and keeps control.

Schaefer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so general is just riding it out for now. Schaefer eventually gives up the hold.

Schaefer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as general walks away with a smile on his face. Schaefer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Schaefer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but general can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Schaefer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
