Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams dives in for a single leg takedown but Carlson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Carlson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams defends well.

Williams leaves Carlson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Carlson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Carlson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Williams is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Carlson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carlson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Carlson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carlson's waist but Carlson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.

I would just about give that final round to Josh Williams.
