Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bennett Ewing (ranked 24653 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Kirk (ranked 5338 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelvin Kirk will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kirk controls the position.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Kirk tries to advance to mount but Ewing instead regains half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ewing accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Bennett Ewing will probably get the nod.

Kirk wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ewing manages to pass to side control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ewing lands a nice short elbow.

Kirk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ewing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
