Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Jacks (ranked 4496 p4p, 399 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 23852 p4p, 591 weight class). Gable has chosen The Warrior as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gable looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jacks pulls Gable in close to prevent any damage.
Jacks lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jacks distracts Gable with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jacks with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jacks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gable has momentary wrist control but Jacks slips an elbow through the middle.

Jacks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gable wants to sweep but no luck.

Gable is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jacks drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jacks as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gable screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jacks! Nice submission victory there!
