Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zyd Xyd (ranked 4107 p4p, 164 weight class) and Axel Youngblood (ranked 5107 p4p, 191 weight class). Youngblood has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xyd gets caught flat footed, as Youngblood shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Youngblood is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Youngblood is in close to Xyd's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Youngblood is looking to work some ground and pound but Xyd has wrist control.
Xyd is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Youngblood cracks Xyd with a solid left hand.
Xyd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Xyd tries to get out of the position.
Youngblood keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Xyd's head.
Youngblood stops Xyd from standing up.

Youngblood got a little sloppy there for a moment and Xyd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Youngblood has managed to get both his arms back between Xyd's legs - danger averted.
Youngblood trying to control but Xyd is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Youngblood seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Xyd wants to sweep but no luck.

Youngblood postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Youngblood takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Xyd fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Xyd scores with a jab.

That kick from Xyd tenderised Youngblood's leg. Youngblood is trying to keep his angry face on.
Xyd works Youngblood's body with a nice hook.
Xyd seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Youngblood takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Xyd lands with a shot to the body.
Xyd is looking to wear down Youngblood with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Xyd digs a good hook to Youngblood's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Youngblood doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Youngblood takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zyd Xyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
