PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 1676 p4p, 55 weight class) and Lakoj Dresden (ranked 1902 p4p, 64 weight class). Dux comes to the cage accompanied by Hot Chip - Over and Over. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux forces Dresden back against the cage and clinches.
Dresden lands a nice uppercut.
A short uppercut from Dux.
Dresden lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dresden scores with a hook to the body.
Dresden blocking some punches.
Dresden leaning against his opponent.
Dresden blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dux is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dresden pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dresden is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Dux on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dresden makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Dresden has hold of one of Dux's legs. Dux is fighting the takedown attempt but Dresden gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dux pulls Dresden in to control the position.
Dresden chips away with some ground and pound.
Dux trying to keep a closed guard but Dresden is proving a slippery customer.
Dresden pushing down on Dux's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dresden slips a nice elbow through Dux's hands, connecting with Dux's forehead.

Dux is rocked!
Dux is looking to control Dresden's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dux avoid being mounted?
Oh Dux is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dresden scores with a big shot! Dux's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Dux! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lakoj Dresden!
A relieved looking Lakoj Dresden thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
