The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kuklinski misses with a hook.
Kuklinski throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side.
Smith throws a right hand that Kuklinski ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuklinski also avoids with ease.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kuklinski backs up against the cage.
Kuklinski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kuklinski wants to hold on but Smith pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kuklinski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Smith here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Kuklinski lands a strong strike to the head of Smith. That's dazed him! Kuklinski looking to finish here. Smith is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kuklinski lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
