The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wettin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wettin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wettin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wettin throws a lazy body kick
and Geisler counters with a straight right hand.
Wettin ducks under a wild hook from Geisler.
Wettin throws a leg kick which misses Geisler's front leg but catches the back leg as Geisler tries to avoid it.
Wettin looks to clinch
and Geisler counters with a right hand to the body.
Wettin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Geisler scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wettin takes a swing at Geisler's ribcage but misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Geisler! But no joy.
Wettin wants to clinch
and Geisler counters with a straight right hand.
Geisler blocks a leg kick.
Geisler thuds a left hand into Wettin's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wettin throws a head kick that misses.
Geisler counters with a body kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Geisler. Wettin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Geisler misses with a body shot.
Geisler lands a nice looking body shot.
Geisler catches Wettin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fighters circling - Geisler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wettin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wettin tries to clinch but Geisler is having none of it.
Geisler misses with a series of wild punches.
Wettin wants to clinch up but Geisler keeps it at a distance.

Wettin moves into the clinch successfully.
Geisler on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Geisler lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Geisler lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Geisler misses with a hook to the ribs.
Geisler lands with a short punch from the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wettin creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
A left hand lands to the body for Geisler.
Wettin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Geisler.
Geisler lands a right hand.

Wettin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Geisler stuns Wettin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wettin is breathing heavily.
A head kick by Wettin misses
enabling Geisler to counter with a crisp jab.
Wettin blocks a jab.
Geisler scores with a kick to the body.
Jab, jab by Geisler - just one landing.

Geisler drops Wettin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wettin looks back up at him and smiles so Geisler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wettin is rocked!

Geisler scores with a push kick.
Oh Wettin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Geisler cracks Wettin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wettin falls backwards against the cage. Geisler follows up with more strikes that drop Wettin to his knees. Geisler keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wettin! This one is all over!
