Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luda Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Wilkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Craziest - Naughty By Nature. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkson closes the distance and pushes Lopez back into the cage.
Wilkson fails to pull guard.
Wilkson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lopez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilkson's waist but Wilkson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lopez off to one side.
Lopez throws a body kick that misses.
Wilkson misses with a takedown
and Lopez counters with a takedown into side control.
Wilkson is trying to get back to half guard.
Lopez stands up.
Wilkson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilkson darts in trying to clinch
and Lopez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilkson won't be happy with that.
Lopez staying calm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilkson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lopez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wilkson, who protects the arm well.
Wilkson tries to bench press Lopez off him but Lopez keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilkson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lopez is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wilkson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lopez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lopez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilkson keeps working.
Lopez controls the position.
Lopez trying to control the action but Wilkson is working from the bottom.
Lopez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lopez is breathing heavily.
Wilkson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lopez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lopez.
Luda Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Wilkson.

Lopez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Luda Lopez just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Wilkson with a poor takedown
and Lopez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lopez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilkson is on top in guard.
Lopez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lopez keeping moving, preventing Wilkson from controlling successfully.
Wilkson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lopez kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilkson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lopez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luda Lopez dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lopez fails with a takedown attempt.
Luda Lopez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wilkson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lopez's guard.
Luda Lopez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wilkson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Lopez has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Wilkson manages to get his head free but now Lopez has transitioned to an armbar! Wilkson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Lopez! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
