Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamir avoids the body shot from Yates.
Manox Jamir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yates misses with a head kick.
Yates takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jamir tries to clinch but Yates is having none of it.
It looked like Yates was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Jamir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yates is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jamir.

It looks like Rueben Yates has been cut.
Yates looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jamir lands a big head kick that sends Yates tumbling to the mat! Jamir takes a step backwards and waves Yates back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yates jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jamir is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Jamir dives in and grabs Yates's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yates pushes down on Jamir's head and hops out.
Oh Yates is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jamir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yates as he jumps to the side.
Jamir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yates but Yates pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rueben Yates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manox Jamir.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Jamir throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Yates is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
