Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ted Stinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

I looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Stinson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Stinson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Jones breaks Stinson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stinson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

Stinson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stinson has Jones in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Stinson will probably get the nod.

Jones working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stinson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jones off and cradles Stinson's limp body as Jones celebrates with his corner.
