PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamaican Jam (ranked 3438 p4p, 99 weight class) and Muhammad Khalil (ranked 24938 p4p, 255 weight class). Jam comes to the ring accompanied by Quartiere Coffee - In Jamaica. Khalil has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamaican Jam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muhammad Khalil!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khalil.
Khalil looks winded!
Jam scores with a decent looking hook.
Jam lands with a nice body punch.
Jam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jam comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Khalil takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jam digs a good body shot into Khalil's ribs.
Khalil closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Jam feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Khalil sprawling to the canvas! Khalil rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jam finish him?!

Khalil is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jam steps in with a hook that catches Khalil right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jam follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Khalil looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamaican Jam!
