Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winfred Dillard (ranked 22834 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kubrat Pulev (ranked 5328 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pulev clinches.
Dillard has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Pulev has hold of one of Dillard's legs. Dillard is fighting the takedown attempt but Pulev gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Dillard has his feet on Pulev's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Pulev rushes Dillard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Pulev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pulev shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pulev showed some decent athleticism there.

Dillard has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pulev is on him like a limpet, forcing Dillard back against the cage.

Dillard jumps guard and drags Pulev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Dillard has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pulev is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Pulev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dillard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pulev manages to get himself to full guard.

Dillard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pulev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dillard has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
