The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwannegger shoots in but no luck this time.
Schwannegger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Spartan lands a jab-cross combination.
Schwannegger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Spartan drops Schwannegger with a big left hand and mounts him. Schwannegger is in big trouble!

Schwannegger is rocked!
Schwannegger looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spartan unloads with some shots from mount but Schwannegger bucks and avoids them well.
Schwannegger is still in real trouble! Can Spartan finish him?
Spartan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schwannegger on the ground.
Schwannegger avoids a series of strikes thrown by Spartan.

Spartan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Schwannegger manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Spartan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Schwannegger seems to have recovered his senses.
Schwannegger tries to buck Spartan off but Spartan is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schwannegger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Spartan.
Spartan rushes Schwannegger with punches - Schwannegger moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Schwannegger goes down! Spartan follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
