Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kruiz (ranked 3432 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Akintan (ranked 24014 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz comes to the cage accompanied by ZARILA KANDZE. Zeke Akintan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruiz tests Akintan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick misses from Akintan.
Akintan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Akintan tries a head kick but it misses.

Kruiz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Akintan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kruiz looks up at the clock and then as Akintan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kruiz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kruiz tries for a kimura but Akintan is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kruiz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Akintan is trying to escape and Kruiz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Akintan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kruiz! Very nice indeed!
