Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Weis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morten Iversen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weis comes to the cage accompanied by Bitter and then Some. Iversen has chosen Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gerald Weis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Morten Iversen!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iversen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Weis pinned against the cage. Weis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Iversen.
Iversen working the strikes but Weis uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Weis is trying to control but can't.
Iversen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Iversen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
