Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalil tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Turbano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Turbano moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Khalil takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Turbano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A jab lands there for Turbano.
Turbano throws a body punch but Khalil moves out of range.
Khalil throws a right hand that misses
and Turbano counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Turbano looks to score with a jab to the body but Khalil is just out of range.

and Turbano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A jab from Turbano finds it's way through Khalil's defenses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khalil throws a lazy uppercut
and Turbano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Turbano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Turbano works over Khalil's head and body with a nice combination.

A punch lands to the side of Khalil 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Turbano throws a big shot that misses.
Turbano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Khalil at a distance.
Khalil ducks right into an uppercut from Turbano.
Khalil throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Turbano to counter with a crisp jab.
Khalil is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turbano moves out of range as Khalil strikes.
Turbano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Turbano is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nice body punch from Turbano.
Khalil needs to keep his hands up - Turbano had a free shot at his head there.

Turbano cracks Khalil with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Khalil is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Khalil is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Khalil is still on wobbly legs! Can Turbano finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turbano connects with a body shot that sends Khalil's belly button to the back.
Khalil seems to have recovered his senses.
Khalil walks into a big right hand from Turbano and goes down! The referee sends Turbano to a neutral corner as Khalil gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Turbano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Khalil takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Turbano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Turbano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A little jabbing left from Khalil on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Turbano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Turbano lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Turbano fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Khalil on the side of the head.
Turbano dips to his left and cracks Khalil with an uppercut!
Some wild striking there from Turbano.
Turbano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Muhammad Khalil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khalil walks into a big right hand from Turbano and goes down! The referee sends Turbano to a neutral corner as Khalil gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Turbano uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Khalil has time to react.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khalil walks straight into a big right, left combination from Turbano and drops to the floor! Oh, he's out cold! He's out cold! Wow, that finish was brutal! Congratulations to Turbano as he moves his way up the rankings!
