The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley takes one on the chin but seems OK.

OMalley closes the distance and clinches up with Manaloto, looking for a takedown. OMalley pushes Manaloto against the ropes but Manaloto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Manaloto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oh OMalley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OMalley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Manaloto is fending him off so far but OMalley persists. Nope, Manaloto circles away and we're back to standing.

Manaloto feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends OMalley sprawling to the canvas! OMalley rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Manaloto finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Manaloto was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Conor OMalley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OMalley tries to clinch but Manaloto moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from OMalley is defended easily by Manaloto.

OMalley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manaloto tries to avoid it but OMalley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manaloto to the ground. Manaloto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Manaloto cracks OMalley with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! OMalley looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Manaloto finish him?

Manaloto darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! OMalley's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Manaloto before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
